Cyborg Attack

[edit]

Hi Tkiehne, how are you? I hope everything is going well. I've seen that you are an active user expert in industrial and EBM music. I've created an article about Cyborg Attack but I'm afraid that although they are moderately well known in the alternative EBM scene, they didn't receive extensive media coverage at the time. Could you help me find sources to improve the article? Thank you very much - AntonioMDA (talk) 20:44, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi AntonioMDA - pretty much all of my non-electronic references (zines) are year 2000 and earlier, so if they didn't release anything until after then I won't have any such arcana and we are left with what can be reached on the Web. It looks like the German version of their article has a little more info, but unfortunately no references. I think the best bet to avoid the dreaded "notability" criteria is to establish that the Black Rain/Noitekk label (parent/sub) are significant indie players and see if there is evidence that they played on a tour outside of Germany - those seem the most likely criteria to meet per Wikipedia:Notability (music)
Hi Tkiehne, thank you for your response. Prior to 2000 we only have the EP "Toxic" (I doubt it received much media coverage), do you think there can be anything?. Regarding concerts outside Germany, they did some (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, etc.) although they never made the jump to the USA. I have evidenced that they played 3 times at the WGT, which I understand is the highest expectation of any EBM/electro-industrial band. Do you think it's relevant to bring evidence of concerts outside Germany? I think I might be able to find something. Thank you very much - AntonioMDA (talk) 12:20, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
