Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Tradekey.com, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Tradekey.com is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Tradekey.com, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Speedy deletion of Tradekey.com[edit]

A tag has been placed on Tradekey.com, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Patrick (talk) 11:34, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Assitance[edit]

I rechecked it. Tradekey.com is a web-related article and it was speedy deleted under WP:CSD G11 (Blatant advertising) four times. For it to survive, it must indicate its importance and/or significance. You may want to read more about blatant advertising here, general notability guideline, and the specific guideline for web content. If you have determined anything, please let me know. Thank you for your contributions to WikiPedia. --Efe (talk) 03:14, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, sorry, its a bit late. If you really want to edit a rough copy of it first, you may create a subpage of yours, like User:Tkmark/Sandbox. Please read the this when using a sandbox. --Efe (talk) 05:22, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New TradeKey Article - Need Help[edit]

(Tkmark (talk) 03:18, 15 December 2008 (UTC))[reply]

I just wrote a new article on TradeKey. First of all, I work for TradeKey.com and I have tried my best to keep the tone of article non-salesy. I have seen the articles of several other B2B websites on Wikipedia too. For example:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Sources

Here is the article I wrote and I need your help to see if the content meets the guidelines. I printed out and read the guidelines you had sent me previously. I really appreciate your help and time. Here is the link to TradeKey article:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Tkmark/Sandbox

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Regards.

There's actually no problem with the article now with regards to spamming. The addition of certifications are great. However, in my experience with other editors, I am afraid of WP:COI; you are writing for an article of a certain "org" in which you are a member/worker/employee. I will be attending a conference tomorrow and I am afraid, too, I cannot handle this matter until Saturday and will delay you. So, I referred you to Mr. Acalamari for the mean time. I'll be back on the business, soon. Thank you for understanding. --Efe (talk) 00:13, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(Tkmark (talk) 03:06, 16 December 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Great... Thank you very much. Please do write to me when you get back.

Best Regards.

Sure. Meanwhile, if you have pressing questions, please direct to the person I mentioned earlier. --Efe (talk) 04:52, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Efi,

Please guide how to make the article live. Your help, as always, will be greatly appreciated. Best Regards. (Tkmark (talk) 05:38, 23 December 2008 (UTC))[reply]

I am wondering if you could put at least one line in the lead stating the website's significance. If it passes WP:CSD #G11, I am afraid of WP:CSD #A7. Why don't you try "TradeKey received ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 27001 Information Security Management certifications and became the world’s first online B2B portal to have received both the certifications." Have you scoured the net for possible reliable third-party sources that covered anything about TradeKey? --Efe (talk) 05:52, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Efe,

I have made the change as you suggested. Currently, there are 3 third party sources that I have mentioned in "References". Kindly let me know if it can go live now. Best Regards. (Tkmark (talk) 05:09, 1 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Tkmark, do you have a reference for this "TradeKey received ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 27001 Information Security Management certifications and became the world’s first online B2B portal to have received both the certifications."? --Efe (talk) 12:06, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Efe,

I don't have any third party reference for this. But I can provide you with a list of top 10 B2B portals who are not certified yet. Because any ISO certified B2B will state the certifications on their website.

How about I remove "and became the world's first online B2B...." and change it to:

"TradeKey received ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 27001 Information Security Management certifications in April 2007 and August 2007 respectively."

Kindly let me know. (Tkmark (talk) 02:55, 2 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Being the world's first online B2B would help the article stay in Wiki. I am afraid certificates alone wouldn't make the subject that significant. It will be deleted under WP:CSD A7. --Efe (talk) 06:49, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Efi, I have changed the line of ISO and have also provided an external reference of SGS website. Kindly check. Best Regards. (Tkmark (talk) 06:59, 23 February 2009 (UTC))[reply]

I am worried it fails to meet WP:WEB. It will be deleted. --Efe (talk) 07:18, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Efe, After thoroughly going through the guidelines, I have made some major changes to the article. I have added more information about the inception of the company and also included references for ISO certifications. I have also changed the tone of the content. I hope it will go live now. Please let me know. (Tkmark (talk) 08:46, 3 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Perhaps it can live now. But I am not really sure. If its not speedily deleted, I am afraid of AFD. --Efe (talk) 10:00, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Efe, Kindly make it Live. I will then discuss the article if anyone raises issues. I have seen similar articles on wikipedia that I will then refer others too. For example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sungale_Group_Inc Thanks a lot for your help and continuous assistance. I really appreciate it. (Tkmark (talk) 03:15, 5 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]

I cannot. You are the writer. I'll keep an eye on it, instead. --Efe (talk) 04:26, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Efe, I need your assistance here in understanding something. What did you mean by me being the writer? Yes, I am and I had told you that. Secondly, could you please guide me why it can't go live, so I will make proper changes. I have read the links you provided and changed the text accordingly. This link also describes a company: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sungale_Group_Inc Please guide how it differs from TradeKey article so I will make appropriate changes. Your help will be greatly appreciated, as always. Best Regards. (Tkmark (talk) 09:18, 5 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]

I did not say it can't go live. It can go now, actually. What I am afraid of is if it would, if not speedy, be passed to WP:AFD. Certain criteria have to be met. I know you have read them, but sometimes not all companies/websites can have articles here in Wikipedia. Just try to make it live. --Efe (talk) 11:43, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Efe, Thank you very much for your consistent guidance. I really appreciate your helping me. I am going to make it Live now. Again, thank you. After making it live, I will send you the link.(Tkmark (talk) 02:54, 6 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Welcome. I hope it works. --Efe (talk) 03:03, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Efe, It's live now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tradekey Thank you. (Tkmark (talk) 03:05, 6 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Dear Efe, It was deleted along with its talk page without any discussion. (Tkmark (talk) 04:50, 13 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]

That's what I've been afraid of. It was speedily deleted under WP:CSD G11, and if it meets, it does not need any further discussion. It will be deleted over and over and I tactfully suggest you do not create the page again. Not all subjects/articles can pass the criteria of WikiPedia. If ever Tradekey passes WP:WEB, then it deserves a space here. I'm sorry. --Efe (talk) 05:03, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. You may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guideline to avoid editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.  Chzz  ►  15:03, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

re Article at User:Tkmark/Sandbox[edit]

Hello Tkmark. I was asked to explain why I declined the AFC submission at User:Tkmark/Sandbox. There was confusion as to the title of the article and it was presumed to be "TradeKey". The article for creation located here [[1]] was already declined and the correct manner to resubmit the article is to affix {{subst:AFC submission/submit}} to that article. this is still an option for you whereas the sandbox submission was an unnecessary duplication of effort. I hope this explanation satisfies your inquiry and I wish you success in your future endeavors as well. Happy editing and cheers. My76Strat (talk) 18:46, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

January 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, your account has been blocked; you are welcome to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you.
