Dudepost.com[edit]

The article Dudepost.com has been or soon will be deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a subject but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Re: Deleted Article[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I know it was a rough beginning, hopefully I can explain what happened. You created an article about dudepost.com, which I tagged as a non notable website. An administrator reviewed the article, and agreed with my thought. CSD:A7 means Unremarkable people, groups, companies and web content Wikipedia accepts contributions, however these must be notable. In order for a website to qualify as notable, it must follow this guideline, in which three points are stated. If dudepost.com passes any of those three points, then you can create the article, making sure you add information to confirm that it is a notable site. In example, if it fulfills the second criteria, The website or content has won a well known and independent award, either from a publication or organisation. then be sure to add a reference or link to confirm that award. Remember that information must be verifiable through reliable sources. You should not use dudepost.com as source for these claims, though. In other words, if it won a prize, but it is indicated in dudepost.com (like "We won the prize for the best home page design"), other editors may question the validity of such claim. However, if you quote another source (like "New York Times awarded us the best home page design prize"), then it will be accepted. I recommend to review the notability guidelines, especially the one for websites, and get sure dudepost.com passes any of those three criterias. If it does not pass, the article will delete within 5 minutes. If it passes, but the information is not verifiable (in example, using dudepost.com claims instead of third sources), the article may be deleted in between 5 and 7 days (through a proposed deletion or a a request for deletion).
