Albugo Candida, also known as 'white rust,' comes from the family Albuginaceae[1]. Commonly mistaken for a fungus, it is actually an oomycete. It is known as white rust because of the white color that develops on plants that catches its disease. it infects Brassicaceae species and causes disease and eventual decay of the plant.
