Revising the original 'Multiracialism' article

Hello, all! I'm trying to strike a balance between taking what was originally in the lead for this article and supplementing it with my own research. However, I'm having difficulty justifying some of the original points brought up in this lead. An example of this can be seen in the extended definition of multiracialism-- which isn't as accurate as I'd like it to be coupled with the fact that it's unsourced. I also take issue with the reference to multiculturalism in the lead. Although I find this distinction to be relevant, I don't think it is necessary to mention in this segment of the article. In order to make this article successful, we'll need to continually justify why it is different from other articles such as multiracial, colorism, etc; thus, I don't think we need to over complicate the lead with another distinction that is so phonetically similar.
