African legal philosophy has its basis from nature, sources, aims and administrative issues that are aligned with law as well as how variety of issues are addressed with a legal system[1]. It is more interested in changing laws and legal issues in Africa. African traditions has no history that was written but the rely on the older people to tell about the history and the same recipe is used for African legal philosophy. African legal philosophy was unfortunate mainly because it has never enjoyed the privilege that European philosophy had and as a result of this they had lay their foundation by relying on African legal philosophy. This has led to African customary courts being removed and installation of European courts was the business of the day[2]. This has destroyed the African system of conflict resolution and it also deprives African legal theory to move forward.
