Well done

[edit]

Promoted!. I trust you'll now move onto your next HH FAC candidate? --Tagishsimon (talk) 13:11, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, I plan to completely redo Herne Hill over the summer (I've already done some very basic work on it, but it's still barebones) and have it sorted in time for nominating HHRS to be the FA on its 150th anniversary in August. There is a fair amount to write about on HH - the early estates, Brockwell Park, the old tram routes - even if it isn't as exciting as Brixton. Thanks for your help with copyediting HHRS; I'm quite pleased with how the 'final' version reads.Tommy20000 (talk) 15:07, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Meeting?

[edit]

Hi Tommy20000! I work for Wikimedia UK, the local chapter of the Wikimedia movement - we're the UK charity that supports Wikipedia and Wikipedians. I actually live out in the Docklands, and our office is near Old Street, so we're not that far away from the location of your featured article! I was hoping you might be able to meet some time to have a friendly chat - we can pay any travel expenses incurred - but we're always looking for ways to help editors who write featured content, and I'd really appreciate your input. All the best - and congratulations! The Cavalry (Message me) 17:16, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
