Speedy deletion nomination of Forum on Health[edit]

A tag has been placed on Forum on Health requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Forum on Health deletion[edit]

Thanks for you message. The trouble is that articles have to meet certain criteria, mainly be notable and verifiable see: WP:N (WP:ORG) and WP:V.

The first paragraph of WP:ORG says:

An organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Trivial or incidental coverage of a subject by secondary sources is not sufficient to establish notability. All content must be verifiable. If no independent, third-party, reliable sources can be found on a topic, then Wikipedia should not have an article on it.

What is reliable is defined at: WP:RS. Unfortunately your article did not assert why it was notable or refer to any sources to back this up. In addition it seemed to read like and advert - you can read more about that here: WP:ADS

I cannot answer directly why the imedix article had been allowed to remain as I don't think it asserts it's notability either so I will ask for its deletion through the AfD process (WP:AFD) rather than the speedy deletion process that was used here (WP:SPEEDY) as it has been around for quite a while and this process also the community to discuss it.
