Please do not bombard Calvin999 with messages

Calvin999 is a prolific and experienced GA reviewer, and it is completely normal for a user to open a GA review and not review it for a few days. Your messages are very annoying, so please stop it. In fact, in its current state, the Lego article would arguably meet the GA quick-fail criteria. sovereign°sentinel (contribs) 09:44, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

Three messages is not bombarding someone. I was simply curious as to when the review would begin as it is now past the suggested seven day review period. I know that he is a prolific reviewer and that is why I initially assumed that he might have multiple things on his plate and might have forgot about it. Then when he said that he began it and a couple of days later at the seven day mark, he wasn't done, I sent a friendly reminder. I worked hard on the article and it is for Calvin999 to assess and I will most likely recieve suggestions to fix anyway. I feel so far that after two mistakes, every edit of mine is under extreme scrutiny and I believe that things are turning into WP:RANCOR. Calvin999 just reassured me that it was under control and made it clear that no more commens were needed and that is his job, not yours. Tortle (talk) 09:53, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
The reason why we are following your edits is to prevent damage to Wikipedia and to help you in case you need help. I would actually recommend you to slow down, take a WP:Wikibreak, just do not do anything you may not be capable of handling. You can quote policies and essays like a veteran Wikipedian, yet you are making major mistakes that required cleanup. This may cause people to suspect you of WP:Sock puppetry, and question whether your edits are made in good faith. sovereign°sentinel (contribs) 13:33, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
I feel like I am slowing down sovereign°sentinel. I have a GA going and I am participating in the copy editing contest and am doing very well in that and that is refreshing my editing skills. Trust me, Im watching myself and not beginning anything major without doing it the right way. Thanks, Tortle (talk) 19:00, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

Hello

Hey I know you feel bitten. Are you open for discussion at this time? Jerod Lycett (talk) 12:37, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

I guess Jerod Lycett. Tortle (talk) 18:56, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
You've made some mistakes, you were even taken to AN/I over one. You said you had been an editor years ago, and are just coming back. Many things have changed since then. I know you're being WP:BOLD and jumping in, and I cheer you for that. Many editors though act like grumpy old men. The reason we have multiple essays including the Bite essay on the subject is because it's such a common problem. People also seem to complain a lot over at Wikipedia:Village Pump about how much red tape there is now. That said, if you do want to help improve the Wikipedia space you'll find that most of the grumpy old men won't trust you until you've gotten some article space edits in.
Enough of that though, I know nothing about you. You say you're still in school, which I interpret as being in high school. From your userpage I assume you may be Australian. You can see from my userpage that I'm a college drop out, and be able to figure out I'm an American. I'm interested in skepticism and Methodism. What are you interests? Jerod Lycett (talk) 00:27, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
Im actually in college but you're right about my being australian. Specifically, I am all about technology and teaching myself about new things. I like to write although I am not the best so I hope wikipedia will give me some good practice. I like playing tennis, soccer, and running but am not deeply interested in watching others play so editing articles for sports teams and competitions on here would be boring for me. I enjoy the code aspect of wikipedia as it is not advanced and can I can enjoy doing otherwise menial tasks. I think youre right, that I need to build more trust in article space edits. Thanks Tortle (talk) 00:53, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

Your editing

If you are really editing Wikipedia in good faith, I would advise you to simply slow down your editing. You simply did too many things that you may be incapable of handling. sovereign°sentinel (contribs) 01:33, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

I did start to slow down after the WikiProject incident. Tortle (talk) 01:36, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
Good. Thanks for helping to copyedit articles. That really benifits Wikipedia. Keep up the good work. sovereign°sentinel (contribs) 05:38, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
Thanks sovereign°sentinel (contribs), I hope we can start fresh on a better foot. I am sorry for the disruption I caused and Ill keep away from major projects for a while. Tortle (talk) 05:45, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
