Please link cycling team seasons to other languages.[edit]

Hi Tropin Igor, thank you for making all the cycling team season pages! Don't forget to WikiData-link them (click add links or edit links in the left bar) to other languages, such as French and Dutch. For 2014 the categories w:fr:Catégorie:Équipe cycliste en 2014 and w:nl:Categorie:Wielerploeg in 2014 will list the articles in those languages respectively. Good luck! - FakirNL (talk) 17:49, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

January 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 2014 Team Europcar season may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Expanding infobox[edit]

Hi Tropin Igor, is it an option to expand the infobox of the season cycling team articles with info from the team that may change over the years: the UCI code, brand of the bicycles, country where it is based and the image of the cycling jersey. Especially, when adding the cycling jersey of the team, the image won't be deleted if it not in use anymore at the main team page. What do you think? Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Non-free image usage[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to a page, specifically 2016 Etixx–Quick-Step season, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:25, 20 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please check the licensing of a logo before adding it to an article. Logos such as File:Team Katusha logo.svg are freely licensed and, thus, can be used in individual season articles, etc. Logos such as File:Lampre–Merida logo.png, however, are non-free images and each used is required to satisfy WP:NFCC because the logo is considered to be protected by copyright. To check a logo's licensing, just click on it and look at it's file page. If it says it's available from Wikimedia Commons or has a free license, then you don't need to worry about NFCC; if it has a non-free use rationale, then it's probably non-free, which means there's a good chance it cannot be used per numbers 14 and 17 of WP:NFC#UUI. If you're not sure about a specific logo, feel free to ask at WP:MCQ. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:48, 20 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
