Jonathan Frederick Leoni Garfield (born November 11, 1930) was the 37th president of the United States, serving from 1969 to 1990. The founder of the Lasagna4Alls Party, Garfield was the first non-Humanoid president of the United States. He previously served as a member of the United States House of Representatives, making him the second US President elected from the Congress.

Garfield was born at Mamma Leoni's Italian Restaurant, where Jon Arbuckle adopted the young kitten and taught him basic education. After graduating from Williams College, Garfield enlisted as an officer of the  United States Army in 1939. The young officer then quickly rose up the ranks, landing himself as a Major General by 1943. Garfield fought the Germans and the Japanese alike in both fronts. After the war, Garfield was elected as a Congressman, representing Ohio's 19th Congressional District. Garfield quickly earned his reputation as a great orator, which he used to his advantage to pass all laws he wished, including the 'Free KatFood4All' Act and the ever-controversial 'Lasagna4America' Act.

The 1956 Republican National Convention delegates chose Jon. L. Garfield as the Presidential candidate of the Party. On the 1956 National Elections, Garfield had promised the American people that he would defeat its enemies within just a month, defeating the Democratic candidate Richard M. Nixon by a landslide. Garfield's accomplishment within his first 100 Days includes the defeat of the communist forces in Vietnam and the annexation of Canada, Mexico, and Cuba. His administration also got rid of the problems people faced before his presidency, like corruption, poverty, crime, and the worst of all, the lack of Lasagna.

Jon L. Garfield ultimately resigned on January 20, 1996, after he felt that his job was done, Vice President of the United States Jon Arbuckle replaced Garfield as the President of the United States of Earth. Jon Garfield then resumed his post as a Major General of the United States Army.

Childhood and early life[edit]

Jon Garfield was born the youngest of twelve children on November 11, 1930, in the backroom of Mamma Leoni's Italian Restaurant near Moreland Hills, Ohio. Garfield's Parents was never known, possibly stray cats, but there were some speculations that Garfield's father was a lion. Garfield's sister, Mary, died of starvation days later, which later was followed by his other sister, Joana, also of starvation, which forced Garfield to call out help, this was heard, of course, by Jon Arbuckle, who was sitting nearby, behind a wall, eating a lasagna. Arbuckle then adopted Garfield, without knowing that he has siblings.

Education, marriage and early career[edit]

Jon Arbuckle served as Garfield's parents and teacher, teaching Garfield the basics, including writing and reading. Upon Garfield's 2nd Birthday, Jon had decided to hire a professional tutor to teach things Jon cannot. Garfield graduated from the Williams College, he joined the United States Army, 20th Brigade, 6th Division. His first mission was in Africa, shortly before Operation Torch. He gathered excellent intelligence that was used by the Allies to defeat the Germans out of North Africa. He was shortly promoted to Brigadier General.

Garfield was then given the command of the 1st Cat Regiment 'Ironclaws' which was involved in the behind-the-lines operations before D-Day. Garfield was then shortly injured by a shrapnel from a grenade that exploded near a tank in Calais. Upon his recovery, Garfield was then assigned to the Pacific to assist the local Filipino resistance. On 1945, Garfield assisted during the Invasion of Lingayen Gulf, which ended in a successful Allied landing, thanks to Garfield's excellent work, which gained him the nickname 'Lion'.
