Hello TungstenTime, where do you get your population numbers about the Turkish villages from? I am not certain Koyumuz is a reliable source in this context. Are mahalle (neighborhoods) the same as villages? – Thjarkur (talk) 17:46, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

I suppose it's not really reliable, and that's on me. Unfortunately, I don't speak Turkish, and so I was relying on a mix of translator programs and being able to recognise things from previous pages. I used the source because that was the one the user who first created a few pages in the same category used, and I thought that'd be reliable enough, as there were no notices pertaining to inaccuracy at that time - if anyone with better information could edit that, that would be great. I'll be reviewing the sources used on the Turkish wiki - which I hope are accurate and reliable enough, and will update the page accordingly. As for the concerns over mahalle/neighborhoods and villages, I could not find any other subdivisions in the area which were of the same name. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. TungstenTime (talk) 17:58, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
I realise what you were saying about mahalle and villages. After subsequent research, I have determined that these are in fact not the same, and will update the pages accordingly. TungstenTime (talk) 18:03, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi. Is there any reason you just happen to be following my edits round in this topic area? With literally tens of thousands of these village articles missing from EN.WP you happen to pick the exact same page(s) I've been working on? Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:55, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi. I'm not trying to follow your edits. I was looking at the New Pages page a couple of days ago, and happened to see a new page pop up. I looked at the topic, and thought I'd be alright at it. I've created a fair amount of articles on the subject now, and while they are basic at the moment, I aim to be going back and improving them in the future. There is no particular reason for why I chose the topic, and I am not connected to it, but I do find geography quite interesting. As for WP:HOUND, I'm not trying to cause you any problems, and I can stop editing on the subject if you'd feel it necessary, or helpful. I don't at all intend to disrupt your work, and if my edits are becoming disruptive, please let me know. Thank you for your concerns, and I will remember to take this point into consideration in the future, when editing or creating articles. TungstenTime (talk) 18:22, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

In the spirit of "don't feed the trolls", when you see an edit request like the one you answered on Zac Stacy, just delete it or revert it. Don't answer it and leave it sitting on the talk page for others to see. Thanks! Schazjmd (talk) 21:10, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

Fair enough, will do. TungstenTime (talk) 21:22, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
