RE:Your comments on Talk:Jim Rotondi

I saw your request for a tutorial. I left a welcome message above that has some relevant links. Some other helpful reading for you would probably be WP:AUTO, WP:BLP, & WP:MUSIC. Generally speaking it is better to let other people write about you rather than right about yourself (I'm assuming from your comments that you are Jim Rotondi. Also be aware that if you are just posting something that is verbatim from something you wrote and posted elsewhere, it will probably be scrutinized as a possible copyright violation. It appears that isn't the case with the current version of the article though. The one thing that is missing from the article is verification from relaible sources. For instance, "Jim was awarded first place in the International Trumpet Guild's jazz trumpet competition" is in the article, but it really needs to have an external source. Generally speaking Wikipedia doesn't allow a person to simply assert that something is true, there needs to be proof.
