Huguette Clark[edit]

Hi, Tuudder. It's commendable that you took the initiative to create an article in Wikipedia - especially so soon after becoming an editor here. The problem with the Clark article, however, is that the article's subject may not meet Wikipedia's guidelines for notability. Additionally, the two references you provided really aren't references and didn't not specifically address the statements they were supposed to be references for. But, most importantly, since Ms. Clark is still living, the article falls under the classification of a biography of a living person. There are some very specific guidelines that must be adhered to with BLPs. BLPs - at the very least - must be treated like glass. Hence, the reason why I removed the statement about Clark being a "recluse". If you have any questions, please read the articles highlighted in this message. --SkagitRiverQueen (talk) 07:36, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Huguette M. Clark requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. FYI[edit]

Just want to let you know I responded to you at my talk page. --CrohnieGalTalk 12:53, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Another thing, your user page is red which can bring certain attentions. If you don't want to put something there that you are interested in than just a . will make it go blue. I find that user's who have there name red don't seem to be taken as seriously at times plus red for during vandal patrol is something I automatically look at. Just thought I would share this with you. Of course please feel free to do whatever you want to.  :)--CrohnieGalTalk 15:02, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ted Bundy[edit]

As much as I hate backing her up, this editor seemed to indicate she had no issues with it and stated that there was no consensus to remove the category here. Wildhartlivie (talk) 22:38, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
