I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Regarding your edits to the article La Grande Armée. Please do not remove large, well-developed sections of an article without first discussing the proposed changes on the article's talk page, and achieving a general consensus. Repeatedly changing or removing content without consensus may be seen as vandalism. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! Cheers. --PeruvianLlama(spit) 02:33, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing content from Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Owen× 02:33, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I was going to say basically what Llama and Owen have, but they beat me to it. But I can add, please stop playing with this article. I've put a lot of time and effort into it. If you want to make a major change, then let's discuss it first...that's what talkpages are for.Thanks--R.D.H. (Ghost In The Machine) 09:10, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, sorry (to Llama, Owen and R.H.D) if i had caused much inconveniences. Just to clarify, i was not playing with the article. In fact i found the article great and thought i could chipped in... Nevertheless, im still interested in chipping in and hoped you guys wont mind however i will discuss the changes with you guys first. Do reply. =) Thanks-Twejoel 09:56, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No problem dude! You are welcome to contribute! Hope you are not too discouraged, but I moved your Order of battle (I think for the 1805 campaign?) to the article's talk page HERE. So it is neither gone nor forgotten. I just moved it for now. Later, when I start the history section, that should come in very useful, thank you. By the way, I also like the reference you added to Col. Luvaa's book. I have have high regard for him as a historian and Napoleonic scholar. Cheers:>--R.D.H. Hey, thanks for letting me contribute and making my work feel worthy, i appreciate it very much. However i guess i should not interupt your project and decided to create a new article. I have already started on it but not yet complete. Its also on the Napoleonic Wars except im focussing on the Allied Forces. Do feel free to contribute if you feel like it because the information i found around are not very detailed. The page is quite hard to find on the search bar though. This link would bring you direct to it

Removal of Images

[edit]

Regarding my edits to the article La Grande Armée, I've removed all of the images in this article as I could not signify the copyright information. Therefore to "play safe" I decided that it would be better removed. Cheers! Twejoel 17:56, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sending template messages to other users

[edit]

Hi, Twejoel. When sending npa template messages to other users, could you consider subst'ing them by using {{subst:npa}} instead of {{npa}}? That reduces the load on the server. It also ensures that if the actual template is vandalized, the message on the user's talk page won't be affected. The same goes for many of the template messages, for example, {{subst:test1}} etc. If in doubt as to whether a particular template is suitable for subst'ing, you could try viewing it in "preview" before pressing "save". Thanks. AnnH 13:52, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Twejoel. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Colonization cover.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Twejoel. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 22:37, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Twejoel,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
