1) Please don't reformat or mandle infoboxes, per your edit. If you need to edit an infobox, either manully edit it, or tweak settings in the Visual Editor to stop the reformatting of an infobox; also please compare the changes before saving.
2) Depending on the community, some are easy to find history online, but also some are very difficult to find historical information. Some may require you to find or buy printed books to get the information that you need. Here is what I found on Kansas Historical Society, another place to look is county or other local historical societies.

- I believe that I already have VisualEditor automatically enabled. Would you be able to tell me more regarding the visual editor, and how I can edit inboxes with it?
- Also, I reviewed the Kansas Historical Society and was able to get some good information. I'll be visiting the Basehor Historical Society tomorrow. TwistedMan1328 (talk) 01:36, 13 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Basehor-Linwood High School, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:19, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hey Magnolia! Thanks for reaching out. I'm still a little new to editing and creating articles here on Wikipedia, so apologies for my mistake.
- It was a mistake on my part to not cite some of the information. Most of it was collected from the Basehor-Linwood USD 458 website. After looking back, some information was not properly cited and was inaccurate, and needed to be removed regardless.
- Thanks so much for your help with the article, I appreciate it very much. Have a good rest of your night! TwistedMan1328 (talk) 22:49, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. Hang in there. Long ago, I got reverted a lot in some of my early edits on Wikipedia, before I was aware of various rules and guidelines, so please don't take it personal. • Sbmeirow • Talk • 04:34, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- I highly recommend that you learn how to manually edit wiki articles as much as possible without the visual editor. One of the worst things about that tool is that it reformats some things that it should be reformatting. It really ticks me off when this tool reformats or mangles infoboxes!! I will more likely revert the entire infobox than waste my time trying to fix the mess that was caused by it. • Sbmeirow • Talk • 04:47, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your advice! I read over some information as to how to manually edit articles, and with some past experiences with visual editor, I will try to use manual editing for more often than I already do. Like I said, I am still new to Wikipedia and I am open to criticism and correction, so please feel free to help out as much as you can. Again, thanks so much for your help.
