This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dvd::rip, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.homedvdcopy.com/easydvdrip/download.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Deleted

[edit]

In addition to copyright issues, the content at Dvd::rip did not appear to meet notability guidelines. I deleted your backup file at User:Txt.file/dvd::rip as well as Wikipedia can't host copyvio content.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. — Scientizzle 15:59, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User:Txt.file/dvd::rip restored. I acted too hastily and should have just blanked out the copyvio content. Please don't copy/paste text from other sites in the future. — Scientizzle 16:12, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited DHCPD, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Solaris (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to LibreOffice does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history.

The edit summary appears in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:34, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

oh … then I probably forgot to enter one. Normally I enter a edit summary and I also do not like it if other people leave it blank. --Txt.file (talk) 15:44, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison of command shells

[edit]

Hi, it seems that you are interested in this article...

Would you support the idea of having several entries for the Bourne Shell to make it easier to understand it's nearly 40 years of history?

  • Bourne Shell from 1977
  • Bourne Shell from Svr2
  • Bourne Shell from Svr4
  • Current Bourne Shell based on OpenSolaris sources

This could allow to mention that old version have been proprietary and did not even support functions while the recent version is highly portable and includes a command line history editor. Schily (talk) 14:05, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
