Speedy deletion of Buzzmaster[edit]

A tag has been placed on Buzzmaster requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. jonny-mt 15:53, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Txthunder,

I've left a note outlining the major issues I saw with the article that prompted me to tag it for speedy deletion on its talk page, so please check those out when you have a chance. Incidentally, I don't want you to be discouraged if your first article is deleted (believe me; I know how it feels). But I encourage you to read through the policies and guidelines linked in my note and ask any questions if you have them.

I also mentioned this on the talk page, but since you seem to have rallied the troops to your aid, I'd like to suggest that you leave on the proposed deletion tag for as long as possible, as it essentially provides a five-day window during which you can improve the article at your leisure. If you remove it before that time is up, any editor may nominate the article for deletion through discussion, and I can guarantee that it won't hold up in the state it's in.

And finally, I do hate it when my first interactions with a new editor are over whether or not their article will be deleted, but I've added a welcoming template below with a number of links that you may find useful. Please let me know if you have any questions! --jonny-mt 02:15, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SportsNation[edit]

What did you do on the page. Most of it seems like Vandalism, and SportsNation doesn't have members. --HPJoker (talk) 21:47, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, I'm a part of SportsNation too, and when I don't have school, I'm on the Morning Buzz chat. I just checked the Morning Buzz archives. I love going on the Monday Night chats and Buzz knows me well, in a Buzzy type of way. Remember, Wikipedia pages aren't blog pages. I suggest you find a guy on my talk page thats experienced. Like StormTracker. Go down to the bottom of my user page and click on the 94. Tell him HPJoker sent ya. Ask him for the list of What Wikipedia is not. Just skim it.
PS. Once again, I LOVE SPORTSNATION! And no, I did not take down your edits, althrough I was for it. SPORTSNATION SHOULDN'T BE A STUB! I was the guy who brought this up to attention on SportsNation. I'm the only reason you or whoever was aware of that. --HPJoker (talk) 00:17, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
