Lords of Dogtown

[edit]

Hi. I just wanted to explain why I reverted what you added to the Lords of Dogtown article.

Wikipedia doesn't contain what we call original research. When you write something that is purely your own thoughts and opinions on a movie, like you would if you were writing an essay for school, then you are creating original research. Wikipedia needs instead the opinions and thoughts of a reliable source, which is properly cited. That way the reader knows that what they are reading is accurate and verifiable. If you can find what you added as the thoughts of an authoratative reliable source, then please add them again, but this time citing and attributing them to the source.

Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 18:39, 23 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
