Your username[edit]

Hello again. I noticed that your username has the suffix "-bot" (why I did not see that earlier, I do not know). In any case, I am sorry to inform you that, as per Wikipedia username policy, having a name that contains "bot" is generally not allowed. The reasoning for this is simple; certain users operate bot accounts, which are scripted semi- or wholly automated accounts made for doing tedious tasks (such as vandalism reverters, spellcheckers, and so on) that are simply impractical to do by hand. In any case, bot accounts are identified by the word "bot" in the username. For this reason, Wikipedia usually forbids human users from using a name with "bot" in it, because it is reserved for true bots.

You have a few options at hand: First of all, you could change your username, though it would probably be a long and tedious process, and the change might not be granted. Secondly, you might to change your signature so that instead of [[User:Tylerbot]] it reads [[User:Tylerbot|Tyler]] (or something like that). Lastly, and possibly the simplest option, you could simply register a new account under a different name, and leave a note on User:Tylerbot to indicate that the account is neither a bot nor active. (Come to think of it, you should probably leave a note on your userpage to show that you are not a bot account in any case.)

I add my warm welcome to Ourai's above. I hope you enjoy being a Wikipedian, and I hope that you won't be put off by some of us being just slightly concerned by your username's containing "bot". I operate a bot account myself, and I have found there are clear rules here about what the community will accept in a bot. I well remember, in its early days before I had tweaked its edit summaries so that everyone could see clearly what it was doing, it got occasionally reverted and blocked. We don't want that to happen to you! Clearly you are not a "bot", but my advice is that changing to a new user name may in the longer run save you a bit of stress and worry, and prevent your having to be overly careful in what you do here. Speedy deletion of Fuhuwugads[edit]

That's fine—I was actually using this speedily-deleted article to illustrate to a friend how Wikipedia is protected from garbage and vandalism. So it actually helps me make my point.

Why did you revert my change to Template:CompaniesLaw?[edit]

Because your svg was terrible. i'm guessing you just used the "convert raster to vector" tool in inkscape. the png looks better at 100% than the svg. the svg is very fuzzy. try redrawing it yourself in inkscape or another means.
