Block

[edit]

You asked for a block at [1], but from what I could tell, it is either a dynamic IP, which we cannot block for long or it is just a folks coming from LiveJournal. Zach (Sound Off) 02:57, 24 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

[edit]

I am sure that you will enjoy wikipedia. And, over a period of time you shall come across several users. --Bhadani 12:44, 24 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

no matter how my RFA turns out, i just want to say thank you for your vote. Journalist C./ Holla @ me!

nomination

[edit]

really? He said the nomination was already over. But I nominated him anyway under this account. (Kyla 21:40, 24 September 2005 (UTC))[reply]

RFA Nomination

[edit]

You can nominate them if you want. The policy is that anyone in good standing may nominate another user. So far, you seem to a contientious editor, and you have not been in any trouble (vandalisation etc), so I would say that you qualify as such. If you need any help just ask me, Ok. Good luck.Journalist C./ Holla @ me!

Speedies

[edit]

Please don't mark images for speedy deletion unless they fulfill one of the criteria listed at WP:CSD. --fvw* 00:25, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I dont remeber tagging any images for speedy deletion. Type O Spud 00:27, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Ehm, I mean pages. Oops. --fvw* 00:28, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Ok sorry i just thought that a Wikipedia space that infolved a conversation that should be moved to a Tfd page should be deleted fast because there would be nothing on it. Type O Spud 00:30, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid you'll have to use Wikipedia:Miscellaneous deletion for this. Who knows, someone may want to keep it. --fvw* 01:11, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

My nomination

Nice to see you

[edit]

Nice meeting you. Please tell me how you, with only 50 edits, can go so deep inside wikipedia hardly to search unusual links. I am also curious to know: are we here to select administrators or to write an encyclopedia?. I find almost NIL contribution from you to articles, but gr8 involvement in other aspects. I look forward to you for your guidance and advice. With regards. --MissingLinks 07:25, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your adminship

[edit]

I want to nominate you for adminship. Please sir let me know fast as noone has seen future. Hoping to listen soon from you. I am sure seeing your interest in admin process, you shall become a very good administrator. Please convey your acceptance. I am sure even with one edit one can stand for adminship. By the way, I know you very well, so donot worry dear sir. Thank you my trusted ally. --MissingLinks 07:29, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply. I do not know you. But, sure gradually we shall come to know each other. I will not take the risk of nominating you right now - what you said is right. If people make more oppose votes, my nomination will become useless ans it will also cause stress to you. We should wait. What do you say, friendly yours. --MissingLinks 07:41, 2 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your support

==Who's RfA== Thank you for supporting my masters RfA. He appreciates your support and comments and looks forward to better serving Wikipedia the best he can. Of course I will be doing all of the real work. He would have responded to you directly, but he is currently out of town, and wanted to thank you asap. Thanks again. --Who's mop?¿? 20:53, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your support

[edit]

Thank you very much for your support on my nomination for adminship. Now that I have been made an admin, I will do my best to live up to the truest you and the community have placed in me. If you ever see my doing something you think is incorrect or questionable, or does not live up to the standards that should be expected of an admin, please let me know. Esperanza

[edit]

Type O: I am so sorry to have to come do this, particularly with regard to Esperanza's mission, but it's been pointed out that the charter for Esperanza requires members to have more than 150 edits and two weeks participation. I don't like the idea of "kicking people out," and I refuse to do it to you. You are most welcome to participate in Esperanza's activities until you reach 150 edits, but I have to discount your votes in the election because of the charter. I'm very sorry about this, and I hope it won't dampen your participation in Wikipedia or Esperanza. -- Essjay · Talk 00:12, 8 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

By all means, you are welcome to participate in any activities (except the voting) until you reach 150 edits. I will not allow any user to be excluded from Esperanza activities because of edit count; if it were up to me, you would be allowed to vote. Unfortunately, my hands are tied with regard to voting, but you are absolutely welcome to take part in any of our other programs. Anyone who says different will have to deal with me. -- Essjay · Talk 19:33, 8 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much!

[edit]

Thank you for helping me! I didn't even notice the mistake. (Jessica Liao 01:36, 25 October 2005 (UTC))[reply]

News from Esperanza

[edit]

Hello, fellow Esperanzians! This is just a friendly reminder that elections for Administrator General and two advisory council positions have just begun. Voting will last until Friday, December 30, so make sure you exercise your right to vote! Also, I'm pleased to announce the creation of the Esperanza mailing list. I urge all members to join; see Wikipedia:Esperanza/Contact for more information. All you need to do is email me and I will activate your account. This will be a great way to relax, stay in touch, and hear important announcements. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?)

This message was delivered to all Esperanza members by our acting messenger, Redvers. If you do not wish to receive further messages, please list yourself at WP:ESP/S. Thanks.

Another Esperanzial note...

[edit]

Hi again Esperanzians! Well, since our last frolic in the realms of news, the Advisory Council has met twice more (see WP:ESP/ACM2 and WP:ESP/ACM3). As a result, the charter has been ammended twice (see here for details) and all of the shortcuts have been standardised (see the summary for more details). Also of note is the Valentines ball that will take place in the Esperanza IRC channel on the 14th of February (tomorrow). It will start at 6pm UTC and go on until everyone's had enough! I hope to see you all there! Also, the spamlist has been dissolved - all Esperanzians will now recieve this update "newsletter".

The other major notice I need to tell you about is the upcoming Esperanza Advisory Council Elections. These will take place from 12:00 UTC on February 20th to 11:59 UTC on February 27th. The official handing-over will take place the following day. Candidates are able to volunteer any time before the 20th, so long as they are already listed on the members list. Anyone currently listed on the memberlist can vote. In a change since last time, if you have already been a member of the leadership, you may run again. Due to the neutrality precident, I will not vote for anyone.

Yours, as ever, Esperanzially,

Fair use rationale for Image:Bloodykiss.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Bloodykiss.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- WebHamster 03:52, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Bloodykiss.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bloodykiss.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. WebHamster 03:48, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
