Your edit to Fani's article and your userpage[edit]

Hello Typhoon boy 20,

I appreciate your interest in tropical cyclones, but I am curious as to where you saw Fani's pressure reanalyzed to 930 mb. While I personally think IMD grossly underestimated the intensity of the storm, we have to go by what their official word is, which is 932 mb as mentioned in their official report. This report does not mention gusts, and 165-knot gusts are not the kind associated with 115-knot winds (we cannot use JTWC's gust figures). I'd be curious to know of any subsequent official reanalysis I'm not aware of (please provide it if so).

Also, note that per WP:FAKEARTICLE, you unfortunately cannot keep an article-lookalike on your userpage (since it could very easily be confused by readers for the real storm), so sadly it seems like that content should be removed. Why not write a bit more about yourself and your interests on your userpage instead?

As an additional note, is Cyclone boy 420 (talk · contribs) your account as well? Normally, we discourage the use of multiple accounts. If both accounts are yours, then all you'd need to do is choose one to stick with and indicate this fact on your userpage.

Feel free to reach out to me on my talk page if you have any questions.--Jasper Deng (talk) 07:18, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. I am wondering whether you received the message above as you have continued to keep the improper content on your userpage. I would greatly prefer that you replace the content yourself instead of having to nominate your userpage for deletion or otherwise have someone else remove it. Please do leave a reply below so I know you are reading this.--Jasper Deng (talk) 21:28, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Most likely this account, the aforementioned other one, and Hurricane boy 50 (talk · contribs) (which also violates WP:FAKEARTICLE) are all puppets of Hurricaneboy23 (talk · contribs) who multiple times potentially vandalized by putting the JTWC pressure in place of the FMS (official) pressure on the Cyclone Harold article (who since ceased). ~ AC5230 (talk) 20:16, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION— HB23 says no involvement, says this user and others mentioned are trying to sabotoge. Since he stopped with the pressure, I doubt he's faking now. ~ AC5230 (talk) 20:34, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ohai![edit]

Hi there. I've seen some of your edits, and I just wanted to make sure you're editing Wikipedia productively. We're all collaborating here, and it's best to make sure our efforts are done correctly, and make all of our contributions better than what was there before we edited. So I just wanted to reach out. Can you confirm you're getting our messages? ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:50, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On 7 April 2020, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article Cyclone Harold, which you created. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Stephen 01:13, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
