This is my first test.

A tag has been placed on Men's Division International requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Victao lopes (talk) 21:48, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Men's Division International[edit]

Sorry, no. Your article still doesn't assert notability. See WP:COMPANY for a complete guideline regarding notability of companies and organizations. To assert notability, Men's Division International must have been the subject of major media coverage. Try to find any reliable, third party sources of this organization. For now, I'm going to request it's speedy deletion, but you may contest it by placing {{hangon}} directly under the speedy deletion warning of your article, and discussing the issue on the talk page. You can work on the page by creating it here: User:Typicallucas/Men's Division International. It will allow other users to see the page before you officially create it. In the meanwhile, I'll ckeck the links you provided me. When the article asserts notability, you may create the page Men's Division International. I've checked the links you gave me. Unfortunately, they are not enough, because MDI is only briefly mentioned, I mean, MDI is not the main subject of the texts. You need to find sources that cover MDI only (or mainly). Victao lopes (talk) 00:03, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First off, I apologize for the spam. You are receiving this message because you have indicated that you are in Southern California or interested in Southern California topics (either via category or WikiProject, or I happen to know personally).

I would like to invite you to the Los Angeles edition of Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art, a photography scavenger hunt to be held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Saturday, February 28, 2009, from 1:00 to 7:00 PM. All photos are intended for use in Wikipedia articles or on Wikimedia Commons. There will be a prize available for the person who gets the most photos on the list.

If you don't like art, why not come just to meet your fellow Wikipedians. Apparently, we haven't had a meetup in this area since June 2006!

If you are interested in attending, please add your name to Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art#Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Please make a note if you are traveling to the area (train or plane) and need transportation, which can probably be arranged via carpool, but we need time to coordinate. Lodging is as of right now out of scope, but we could discuss that if enough people are interested.

Thank you and I hope to see you there! howcheng {chat} 00:34, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
