Peer Review Note to Tyrandm: Pertaining to the peer review, I understand there are sections you are still working on, so I would like to offer some ideas on how to expand your article.

Lead Section: The lead section seems fine as is, however another sentence or two can be added if needed.

Structure: There are plenty of ways to structure the article and I would recommend editing the title before moving on to figure out the headings. For example, the article title can either be in quotes or italicized instead of both. The artist's name can be kept or removed depending on your preference.

Some suggestions for headings can be: History, Subject Matter, Visual Analysis, Interpretations, Reception, and Related Paintings by Jan Steen. You can also cover the medium used and go into details about the style of the painting, linking it to the Baroque period as well.

Balanced Coverage: With enough information, I'm sure you can fill out the sections needed for the article.

Neutral Content: The lead section follows the neutral content guideline.

Reliable Sources: The external link provided is useful for more information, so I don't think it needs to be removed, however, it can be expanded upon not just with links to other sites, but with links to books or peer reviewed articles about the painting.

Other Notes: You have a great article to work with. I think you can really benefit from writing an Interpretation section for this painting, or a Visual Analysis section discussing major details in the painting, such as the writing the elderly woman is pointing to, as well as the meaning of the parrot, foot warmer, and dog for example.
