I notice that one of the first articles you created was Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Tom Zubrycki, which appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Hi there, The maintenance Template in relation to the article being created or edited for undisclosed payments is untrue, and I request its removal. Back on October 17th when the original maintenance templates appeared, I admit I panicked and didn’t read the scam warning. Correct, I was approached by 2 people (scammers) purporting to be wiki editors, but in the end I did not follow through with their overtures. The scammers were blocked by me. The last (and only) substantial edit that was performed since October was by an independent editor (on November 9), and this person was a volunteer and not paid. That last edit removed unverifiable claims and entries and replaced them with verifiable and reliable sources, as well as adding some relevant facts. Each fact and entry now links back to reputable bodies like IMDB, various academic journals etc. There are no links back to my website. In fact, the entry actually omits some relevant facts – like my historical membership of various film industry guilds and associations. In summary I believe my wiki entry is factual and neutral in tone and not promotional. Having said all this I’m certainly open to suggestions for changes if further improvements need to be made. Tom, you say this was an "independent editor", but here you said it is a "professional Wikipedia editor". The word professional can really only mean one thing. Or it was a WP:MEATPUPPET. I suggest you simply read WP:COI and follow the rules there which say to work with the community on the article talk page. -- GreenC 21:53, 14 December 2023 (UTC)

Thank you, I am across the guidelines, and happy to work with the community. Also, regarding your query, by 'professional' I mean a person who is familiar with the subject matter, which in my case is the film and television industry in Australia. No-one was paid to perform any edits on the article. Also, I noticed that there are a number of citations which are missing. I can supply those citations myself, or do I need an independent editor to do it? Thanks. Tzub (talk) 00:03, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
