I believe we should use a more appropriate image for this userbox. Even though, I myself, do in fact use an ibook, I feel that the current apple logo would serve better. Any thoughts? MiracleMat 16:32, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Apple logo that used to be on this userbox (Image:Striped apple logo.png) and any other official logo cannot be used here, as they are fair-use images. Fair-use images can only be used in articles; they cannot be used on user pages or in templates intended for use on user pages (like this one). The relevant policy statement is at WP:FUC. If you want to replace the current picture, the replacement image must be under a free license. Some alternative images can be found in the Apple Macintosh article and the Apple Computer category at the Wikimedia Commons. — Jeff | (talk) | 02:12, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I propose we change the image to a newer model. iBook, Air or Pro. --travisthurston+ 18:47, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
