Hi

I'm the subject of the BLP at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Shoebridge, which over recent months (coinciding with my media work in respect of the crisis in Ukraine, and a negative reaction to this from two anonymous individuals on twitter and by email) has attracted some additional content that appears intended to disparage and discredit, and appears largely to be in breach of key aspects of Wikipedia's BLP policies. I've read through the Wikipedia guidelines for dealing with such matters, and have removed the material concerned, giving reasons on the BLP talk page.

I'd be grateful for your help, and anything that can be done to stop this recurring. Many thanks for this.

I am not an administrator. Even though I'm not sure you need one in this case, I'll wait for one of them to respond to the tag you placed here. I am writing to let you know that I have reverted the most recent edits you made at Charles Shoebridge and have explained why on the article talk page. I would be happy to continue the discussion there. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  (User:Wtwilson3)  — 15:40, 20 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
