Speedy deletion nomination of 2018-19 Serie B[edit]

Hello Ubaldocoldagelli,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged 2018-19 Serie B for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2018–19 Serie A, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Macron (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Contributing in "List of Motogp rider records"[edit]

I'm a contributor too and i see that, in the past two days, you edited in "List of Motogp rider records". Some of them are right, but some of them, are terribly wrong! Such as "most consucutive podium finishes". There is a source below the section, that prove that you are wrong. Also, you are wrong in "Fewest World Championship seasons before first title". For example, Gary Hocking win the championship in the third competing year, because he didn't compete in 1960. Make all your edits, as they were before, and try to find sources before you decide to edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.166.226.208 (talk) 14:27, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, you didn't make them better. See the sources and don't ruin other contributors edits. Make them as they were before!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.167.105.110 (talk) 11:30, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi guys. I tried to improve the page as much as possible in the past few days, including other statistics taken from the official MotoGP website or from other sites like motorsportstats.com, that has also multiple stats not included in this page, that I think that was good to add. I also made mistakes, and I apologize for that. But everything was done in absolute good faith, and with so much passion for sport and for the statistics related to it. And for having in Wiipedia the most comprehensive sport statistics for fans and media available for free. I'd like to cooperate with both of you to improve this page: what can I do for that? Thanks. (User:Ubaldocoldagelli), 0:36, 13 October 2019 (UTC)

Hi. I'm sorry for deleting all your edits(i'm the same guy that did the two previous posts here) but you changed some of the edits that i've created and after you didn't correct them (such as "Most consecutive podium finishes", there is a source below, that prove that you wrong) and some contributes in "other", "total wins" and "championships".Nonetheless, i saw your work and in the championships section and in the wins section, you did a good work(with some minor mistakes, but it's ok). If you want to add those edits again for the beginning, no problem. And i'll help in them if you want. Also, try to find some specific sources to put below your edits because there are some crazy people in Wikipedia (more than me), and they delete edits as unsourced and nonstats. Again sorry for deleting all your edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.176.228.222 (talk) 10:05, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I saw your last edit. Nice thought, but there are various faults. First of all, all starts of Andrea Dovizioso are 211 until Thailand, it is listed above (with a source), in the total starts, Alex Barros didn't start in Great Britain 2003, so the record is not until Valencia 2005, Consecutive races of Valentino Rossi between 2000 and 2010, are 170 and until France 2010, not Italy 2010, (you can google it, maybe you will find a source for the whole section), Colin Edwards didn't start in Catalunya 2011, so the record is not until Malaysia 2011, Valentino Rossi didn't start in Misano 2017, so the record is not until Thailand 2019, Sete Gibernau didn't start in Great Britain 1999, so the record is not since Malaysia 1997, Shinya Nakano didn't start in Czech Republic 2001, so the record is not since Japan 2001, Jorge Lorenzo didn't start in Japan 2018 and in Thailand 2018, so the record is until Aragon 2018. I'm not gonna delete your edit, but check this out again if you can and correct the faults. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.166.120.179 (talk) 11:15, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've just corrected that. I think now that section is correct. Thanks for your suggestions...and for your corrections!!! (User:Ubaldocoldagelli), 18:06, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi (again). I saw your last edit. Very good jod, but there are some minor mistakes. Such as Freddie Spencer. In 1985, he was 23 years old, not 33. And Mick Doohan clinched the 1998 title in Australia, not in Catalunya. Also, check again if you want the consecutive starts. I found some riders (such as Alvaro Bautista, Carlos Checa and Norick Abe) who had more than 112 consecutive starts. Also Lorenzo didn't start in Germany 2013. And try to find some sources for your edits, because Wikipedia want sourced stuff and it saves you some time of searching. Thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.166.89.15 (talk) 10:29, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Very good job in your last edit, but there are some falses. But, first of all, in consecutive seasons with a podium, Capirossi took a podium in '95 and '96 and he didn't compete in 500cc until 2000. So, i think that it counts in the record. The same applies in Alex Barros, who took a podium in 2007, but he didn't compete in 2006. But that's my opinion, it doesn't mean that it's true. The falses are in Eddie Lawson who took a win in 1992 and in consecutive seasons with a pole position. Barry Sheene didn't take a pole position in 1978 and Andrea Dovizioso didn't take a pole position in 2017. Also i want to refer in consecutive starts again. Malaysia 2011 and Great Britain 2018 are cancelled races. The first didn't finish and the last didn't start. Do they count in the record or they are skipped? Because, if they count, some of the records are not right. And for conclusion, because i see that you like to improve a lot in this page, you can take some ideas from the corresponding article for F1 (List of Formula One driver records). Thank you, have a nice day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.167.54.18 (talk) 11:24, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi and thanks for your message. Malaysia 2011 started (but it was interrupted), so for the count of "Most consecutive race STARTS" it counts, even if won't finish. Great Britain 2018 was cancelled so it's considered as not taking part of the 2018 MotoGP season, I'll insert a note that explain that. For the F1 section...when I've got some data to manage, I'll edit the post so it's a matter of time!!! (User:Ubaldocoldagelli), 13:07, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In your last edit, check again the starts of Surtees(and the wins), Hailwood, Hocking and Duke. Also some riders won their first and only GP (Jorge Kissling, Edmund Chizak etc.). I don't know if they should included in this edit, unless you have put limit in races they started. Then, you have to refer the races limit in the title of the edit. If you exlcude those faults, great work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.167.146.11 (talk) 10:45, 2 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I saw your last edits. I checked two of them and i found some mistakes in "Most consecutive pole positions at the same Grand Prix". For example, Marquez has three consecutive pole positions in Austria and Rossi has two consecutive poles in many tracks. And i didn't search all drivers. Please check it again. Also, i want to refer to "Youngest riders to start a race". This is a good try(and good source), i searched also for creating this(youngest/oldest in starting races, in podiums etc.). But the article is for MotoGP/500cc class. From 1949 to 2019. I have an article which can help you(but it is also for MotoGP years and not the 500cc). But, because it concerns ages, it is difficult to find and create the exact list. I have searched from 1980 to 2019 for youngest riders to start a race(the newer, the better in informations and birth dates) and i have a chaotic list of riders whose birth date is nowhere mentioned. Not even in motogp.com. I will advice you to delete this section for now. Anyway, thanks for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.59.114.70 (talk) 15:12, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've ordered the FIM MotoGP statistics book 2019 Edition, in few days i'll have it. With that in my hand I'll try to add and/or correct some of the statistics you signalled me. (User:Ubaldocoldagelli), 0:36, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
