Elizabeth Daily

[edit]

Please stop adding the E.G. Daily official site. It's no longer being run and not every biography of an article has to have an official site. Wikipedia should not engage in website imperialism. Marcus2 20:15, 15 February 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Try Taking It Easy Kid

[edit]

I'm the one that protested the edit removals surrounding South Park. Try acting a little bit less psychopathic about it next time. - 69.249.195.232 05:12, 18 March 2006 (unsigned)

The comments you left on the south park discussion page are what I was referring to when I said you were "psychopathic", because CLEARLY you have problems if you go off like that based on speculation about a wikipedia article. And what's this about "hiding" behind an anonymous name? What would be the difference if I made an account and then left the remarks? You act as though that somehow gives you the opportunity to punch me in the face. And leaving remarks on your page is "abusive"? I think not. I think you take this too seriously. You also violated wikipedia regulations in regards to your treatment of the South Park article. So watch it. - 69.249.195.232 07:24, 18 March 2006 (unsigned)

Hey Nurd

[edit]

Keep your profanity to yourself. The Article on "Seven Dirty Words" is offensive enough, to avoid deletion of this crap is to downgrade Wikipedia in general. Does swearing make you Canadian Nurds feel like Americans? That will never happen. No wonder you fools bumbled the case of Paul Bernardo and cost two young girls thier lives. AYE? First of all, if you're going to complain about something I did, be specific. I don't know if you're referring to an edit I did or something I said on the talk page. Second, Wikipedia is not censored. If you don't like naughty words, then don't read articles about naughty words. Third, your attack based on country of origin is infantile and irrelevant. Profanity exists everywhere, and whether or not someone chooses to use it isn't dependant on nationality any more than it's dependant on class or race. Third, I don't really know what the details are behind the Bernardo case because it has little or no relevance to me, but I'm sure that someone could come in and find a few dozen US court cases that have been "bumbled" much worse than any Canadian case you could name (does the name OJ mean anything to you?). And fourth, I offer a quote from Rick Mercer, in his description of the relations between Canada and the US: "We're bigger, and we're on top. If this was prison, they would be our bitch."
In summary, I'm not going to "keep my profanity to myself", since there is no Wikipedia policy or guideline that suggests I do so. However, if you wish to comply by Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, you may want to keep your personal attacks and attempts at censorship to yourself. - Ugliness Man 05:36, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just letting you know, I've already dropped off an {{npa3}} in response to this one. :) Luna Santin 02:30, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Danke. - Ugliness Man 05:36, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
One can only imagine an invading army of Nurds attempting to make Americns thier "bitch", they wouldn't get halfway through Detroit, with thier best commandoes. And since swearing is O.K., both of you can kiss my ass. Kaltenborn 00:34, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lets face it, what has Canada given the world? The Bricklin? Bachman Turner Overwieght?. The only reason you huddle our borders is for your T.V. reception. We even sold you cars with funny names and gaudy trim and you lined up to buy them.

Look, if you want to get snarky and foolish and immature about this US vs. Canada thing, I could go that route and say that Celine Dion and Brian Adams are simply our revenge for Michael Bolton and Kenny G. Or I could quote yet another comedian, John Wing Jr, who once said "a Canadian is merely an unarmed American with health care".
But in the end, it's all pointless snark, because what country each of us is from has absolutely nothing to do with the Wikipedia articles we edit. The seven dirty words article is about profanity, and will therefore contain profanity. And it is a relevant article because the subject matter is discussed and referred to on a daily basis. I contribute to the article, not as a Canadian, but as a long-time George Carlin fan, and someone who's interested in various levels and applications of censorship. If you wish to continue your completely irrelevant and immature personal attacks, you're just setting yourself up for a complete ban. Please, for your sake as much as anyone else's, grow up, calm down, and take a break. Oh, and you might want to run a spell check now and then. - Ugliness Man 11:00, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
