Ederney

[edit]

I removed a lot of the edits you've made to the Ederney article. Wikipedia is not an advertising board, it is meant to be an encyclopedia. Much of the information added was also irrelevant to Ederney. I've trimmed the article down and amended it to fit in with Wikipedia standards. Also you need sources for articles so that it can be proved what is being said is correct. I've added fact needed tags to most parts of the article. Unsourced statements are deleted if no source is provided. Mabuska (talk) 23:03, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you know i will be going through all the sources you've added to make sure that everyone you write is actually sourced. I don't mean to sound harsh or bad but everything needs a source, and when using the same reference multiple times in an article - you don't redeclare it in its entirety, you use ref tags after you declare it once. I've fixed this for you again.
ALso when citing sources you use the exact webpage not the home page. This means you include the "history.php" for the Ederney website, and the exact PlaceNames NI page number. Mabuska (talk) 21:50, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Ukireland. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
