I am not sure whether you are a resident in Hong Kong or not. If you have chance to participate in this protest, the term "Umbrella Revolution" appears in nearly all venues including Admiralty, Mong Kok and Causeway Bay. You can just read articles instead of edit (which would extend your blocking period if you are still blocked), like Chinese-related topics, until your block period expires. For examples of Chinese culture, how about China, dandan youqing, Leslie Cheung, Taiwan, congee, Sun Yat-Sen, Mao Zedong, and Deng Xiaoping? If you want to learn about British history, see British Raj, British Empire, Partition of India, and T. E. Lawrence. Well, when you are finally unblocked, you may change your username if you wish. I highly recommend Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple. However, if you want a used username that has no significant edits and no log actions, go to Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations.
