Orphaned non-free media (Image:Celerant Logo.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Celerant Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:51, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Celerant Consulting[edit]

Hi, sorry for taking a while to get back to you. With regard to your article on Celerant Consulting, there were two reasons why it was deleted. Firstly, in terms of style, it read rather like advertising for the company, e.g. Celerant consultants immerse themselves in client operations. As I'm sure you understand, we on Wikipedia have to be very careful not to allow articles to be used for advertising (this is speedy deletion criterion G11). Secondly, and more importantly, it did not explain the importance or significance of the company (speedy deletion criterion A7). Not all companies, even successful ones, qualify for Wikipedia articles; you may want to read our notability guidelines for companies and organisations to see whether Celerant reaches the standards required. If you believe it does, then you can recreate the article, including links to reliable third-party sources that are independent of the company itself (the company website is not enough on its own). I hope this helps; if you have any other questions about Wikipedia, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. WaltonOne 16:21, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
