Hello, dk. Perhaps they've changed the script, but I'd read that Chow Yun Fat will be cast as Liu Bei, not Zhou Yu. Are you certain of his role? Gamer Junkie 13:06, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your correction to Sun Tzu

I think I clicked the wrong button and saved a past version I was looking at that reverted back the Sun Tzi. I went back a couple of versions to find his picture which is Sunzi.png. Re: Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume

I saw that at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Visual novels/played, you, Moogy, and SeizureDog have "played" (can't really play a kinetic novel...) this game before and I was wondering if one of you could help with the in-universe information. Chiefly: Setting, Characters, and Themes, which is currently not there. Since Key's made 6 games, and two are already GA, (Clannad soon to follow; Little Busters! is excluded for the time being), my main focus now is on building up Planetarian and at least getting Tomoyo After: It's a Wonderful Life out of the stub stage it's been in since it's creation. Buddhism in HKG

Re: "rv. 6 million buddhists out of 7 million people in hk?" I've edited the religion section again to further clarify.. I've left your figures regarding "authentic" Buddhism but to answer your question - yes, there are around 6 million Buddhists out of 7 million people in Hong Kong according to Buddhism by country (unless that is also incorrect). Needing Help With Photo Copywright

Hi once more, I have a question about a recently uploaded photo that I want to use for Liuhe Pagoda of China. The article lacked any picture, and it really needs one, considering that it is one of the greatest Song Dynasty (or any) Chinese pagoda standing today.

As it turns out, Category:Han Dynasty people related to the Three Kingdoms is probably getting a little too large itself, and at some point, I'd like to split it further. Do you have some thoughts on how to do so? (I am currently considering splitting it into such categories as Category:Dong Zhuo and associates, Category:Yuan Shao and associates, &c.) If you're splitting it like that, then it would lead to things like Category:Liu Bei and associates, which, when combined with Category:People of Shu Han, would be a bit confusing...I think. _dk 22:01, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

However, there can simply not be such categories as Category:Liu Bei and associates and Category:Sun Quan and associates, as both are likely to be subsumed under Category:People of Shu Han and Category:People of Eastern Wu, respectively. I don't think that's a good idea, because there were a lot of people of Cao Wei who had no associations whatsoever with Cao Cao, personally. Help for Personages of the Three Kingdoms

Hi, I'm new and I need your help in reorganizing and re-editing the list of Personages of the Three Kingdoms. Some of the links there are wrongly linked to other articles and some of the wrongly pronounced names appear twice in the list as the correct and wrong pronounciations. I would greatly appreciate your help for this matter. After I whittled down Category:Han Dynasty people related to the Three Kingdoms as I indicated, there were still over 200 article. I think I'll have to go with the categories associated with Cao Cao, Sun Ce, and probably Liu Bei and Sun Quan, despite the potential confusion, to cut it down to <200 and hopefully <100, if not <50. --Nlu (talk) 19:15, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Three Kingdoms (and Chinese history in general)

Hi, i'm aware that you and Nlu have been active in maintaining Three Kingdoms-related articles and other articles relating to Chinese history. There are a few propositions i'd like to make but i don't want to have them up for discussion on the talk page of Manual of Style right away because 1. it's a long and arduous process and 2. few people frequent that page. So i hope to get a consensus among active contributors before i put my propositions in motion.

Well for now, i have just two things in mind:

1. No pinyin within the article (see Lü Bu). i say it looks ugly and inconsistent with majority of Chinese-related articles.
2. A certain template to go at the top of Three Kingdoms-related article that warns of the easy confusion between fact and ficiton. Hopefully it would put off casual editors from changing the history.

i just feel that up till now we have all been working relatively alone. It might be good to have regular discussions among active and responsible contributors, for both technical and moral supports. Cheers! --Plastictv 16:49, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

eavesdropping...Three Kingdoms

Hi y'all,

I'm just eavesdropping here, but glad I did... The Three Kingdoms articles are in a pretty bad mess... tons of fiction mingled with fact.. little or no context in many articles, etc. I'm sorta thinking about the possibility of a Three Kingdoms WikiProject... but I'm too busy to do much until August.

I think every article should have a consistent layout.. facts first, a discussion of the fictional aspects later, clearly delineated....

As for the template proposed above (this is where the eavesdropping comes in).. I know I'm a newcomer to this conversation & should respect the views of others, but I'm not sure I would want it atop every 3K article.

Anyhow, I see you've done tons of excellent work on these articles... kudos!

At the moment I am working on Battle of Red Cliffs. There's gonna be a John Woo/cast of thousands of Hong Kong/Taiwan pretty faces movie about it in 2008, and I wanna get at least that article and maybe one or other main ones to FA before that.... I just started working on Red Cliffs and have made good progress but it still needs much work... collaboration, anyone? I've already been able to have a long-term and very successful collaboration w. Chancellor of China

Last of the Han gives Cao Cao's title as "Lieutenant Chancellor" (not Chancellor), but states that he had complete power over the imperial government (sources in Red Cliffs; search for the word "unquestioned").... Thanks for the help today!!! Ling.Nut 16:10, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

In Sanguo Zhi, Biography of Cao Cao it states in 208: "Summer, June, the lord [Cao Cao] became chancellor" (夏六月，以公為丞相。) Maybe it's the difference in translations, but I've always had the impression that 丞相 translates to Chancellor. _dk 17:50, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
