Hello Universal Logic, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:UK eldritch.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Universal Logic. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Please note that it is possible that the image on your page is included vie a template or usebox. In that case, please find a free image for the template or userbox. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 05:24, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Templates on your page[edit]

There's something funny about your user boxes that is causing you to show up as entries in the "Profession user templates" and "Mathematics user templates" categories. Those are reserved for templates themselves and not the members of that class. Jason Quinn (talk) 20:10, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I believe what's going on is that you copied the template code itself to create your userboxes rather than actually using the user boxes. So, for example, to get your mathematician user box, you could have used "{{user mathematician-1}}" instead of the big div-box thing. This looks to be the case for all your userboxs. I suggest you delete the current userbox code on your user page and re-add them using them properly. By wikipedia policy, user pages cannot show up in non-user page categories. Seems easy enough to fix though. Jason Quinn (talk) 20:16, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I saw you hadn't logged in to Wikipedia for a long time so I just went ahead and fixed the templates that were causing the problem. I still recommend to you that you simplify your userbox code using my edits as an guide. You are definitely recreating the user boxes rather than using them. Anyhow, we have a lot in common. Good luck to you and I hope you come back to Wikipedia soon. Cheers. Jason Quinn (talk) 20:27, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
