Pudsey Grangefield School[edit]

Hi and thanks for your message. I removed the content you added back in June because the source/reference you included was your own blog, which is not considered a reliable source on wikipedia. Cheers, Melcous (talk) 11:25, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. It is my own blog but that is where the scans of the letters, etc. are hosted. I thought that preferable to the school's Wiki page.

That's not the only problem with the information you added. Letters etc are primary sources, wikipedia relies on reliable secondary sources, so the event would need to have been reported on in the news, or recounted in a book or some other such published source to be notable enough to be included. I'm a bit confused. So you think that the school may challenge letters sent by the school?

I'm not saying anything about the school. I'm saying that wikipedia works by including information that is notable and verifiable and you need to understand what those principles mean here - wikipedia does not publish original research which is defined as including anything that "serves to reach or imply a conclusion not stated by the sources." If you read the links I have given you it should explain things for you. Melcous (talk) 14:25, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
