Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! ARBIPA sanctions alert[edit]

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Page moves[edit]

Your move of 1971 Bangladesh genocide was contentious and disruptive. For moving any page to a new title, you must follow the guidelines at WP:MOVE. You have now been informed of the ARBIPA sanctions. If you do this again, you will be liable to get sanctioned. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 09:58, 12 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Page move[edit]

Your move of Indonesian killings of 1965-1966 show no sign of conversation or request for comment first about the move:

Talk:Indonesian killings of 1965-1966
Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Indonesia

And as a consequence your move, despite your edit summaries : This name is more specific and makes it sound like a single cohesive event rather than "killings" which is vague and sounds like it could be refer to multi...

is something that requires other editors to reach a consensus as to whether your assertion can be agreed with. Until then please do not edit that again, thank you.

November 2016[edit]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Genocides in history. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Iryna Harpy (talk) 08:55, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

reminder[edit]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requested_moves#CM - you are continually moving pages on your own accord against controversial subjects (edit summaries are not conversations on talk pages), if you are not interested in staying on wikipedia very long, you are going the way of being sanctioned. cheers

not referring to the cambodian killing fields move, that seems obvious, but ...

in fact 'killing fields' should become a WP:REDIRECT, so that the different ones can be discerned... JarrahTree 00:52, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

November 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Genocides in history, did not appear constructive and has been undone. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Hello, I'm Wario-Man. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Hazaras without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Khmer Rouge Killing Fields.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Please stop unexplained removal of reliably sourced content and renaming/moving pages without prior discussion and WP:CONSENSUS. JimRenge (talk) 13:11, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Genocides in history. Iryna Harpy (talk) 21:11, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Non-consensus moves[edit]

Your account was created on November 2. Since then you have made a huge number of moves with no discussion, many of them about notorious massacres. The steps of WP:RM#CM are open to you. The next time you make a controversial move with no discussion you are risking a block. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 04:42, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Login[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Khmer Rouge Killing Fields while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. JimRenge (talk) 13:40, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WIth this move you have continued your large-scale campaign of massacre-related page moves for which you make no attempt at discussion. See my above warning. EdJohnston (talk) 14:39, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copy/paste 'moves'[edit]

You should not copy and paste large sections of one article into another article, doing so causes attribution issues which ultimately require administrator attention and the deletion of those revisions of the page(s) which contain copied text lacking attribution. The correct process is to discuss and then request a history merge where two articles need to be combined into one. Nick (talk) 21:54, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
