Please note that Wikipedia is not a tourist guide, you can make such contribution in Wikivoyage instead. However, certain information may still be incorporated in the article, provided they are not in a promotional tone or link to personal blogs. You can take reference of related Featured articles like, Sawtooth National Forest, Petrified Forest National Park, Biscayne National Park to understand how certain information may be written. Hello Amartya,

I know Wikipedia is not a tourist guide but it is known to me that any information related to a particular place can be included here. I just tried to put in as much information as possible here. I am not here for promotion because I do not do any business with my blog. If you find my articles or texts helpful, please keep the texts here.

Thanks, Abhijit

A tag has been placed on Travel Dias requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Uvreachedavi. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 17:21, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hi, thanks for message. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. If you post an article it will be assessed as it stands. If you don't want that to happen, you should write it as a draft. It's obvious from your question that you didn't bother to look at the l;inks in the deletion summary (G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion: no independent sources, no evidence of notability, see WP:YFA, WP:Paid notability guidelines) I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. You gave no references at all, just a spamlink to your own website. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability. Since you have no references, we have no way of knowing if anything you say is true, you need independent third-party sources
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced or self-sourced claims presented as fact include: vision is to help eradicate curable blindness by providing in low-income states of India, affordable, accessible, sustainable, quality curative and preventive eye care services, and empower women to achieve this... build up an internationally recognised Centre of Excellence... accessible and affordable... Akhand Jyoti will be relentless and empower women to achieve its objectives and to make a broader societal impact by training girls from rural areas.—, and so on, just spam, spam, spam right down to bringing world-class speciality treatment
  • You're so busy spamming the hiospital, you don't bother with actual facts, like the number of employees, funding or expenditure.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. That's particularly the case when they are spamlinks to affiliated sites.
  • the article was created in a single edit without wikilinks or references, and looks as if was copied from an unknown and possibly copyrighted source. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial and text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient. But in any case the copyrighted text is far too promotional to be useful for Wikipedia's purposes, so there would not be any point in your jumping through all the hoops that are required.
  • You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your organisation is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also guidance for editors with conflicts of interest and writing about yourself.
  • If you work directly or indirectly for the organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. Regardless, if you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Uvreachedavi. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Uvreachedavi|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above

The fact that other articles have not been deleted doesn't help you, either they met the criteria or they should be deleted as well. See other stuff exists. Also note that many articles would have been accepted before the notability guidelines were made stricter. It's pretty obvious that the articles you linked, while not marvellous, are nothing like as bad as your unreferenced spam page Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:01, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also note that user pages are for you to write about your activities on Wikipedia, and are not for promotion.

You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls. Your text had no references of any kind.
The hospital may well be notable, but with no verification of any of the facts you claimed, it can't meet our criteria as it stands.
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews. Your text was basically blatant spam, full of unsourced promo such as The hospital is renowned for its medical efficiency, state-of-the-art facilities and services. The hospital has got a highly qualified and experienced panel of doctors along with a compassionate team of optometrists
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. That includes spam links to the hospital's own site
  • Your text was created in a single edit without any references or wikilinks, and is clearly copied from somewhere (I haven't run the script to check yet). You must not copy text from elsewhere since opyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. I am not going to restore unsourced spam, there is nothing worth keeping there. You are free to start again as a draft, but you must reply to the COI request above. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:59, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
