Xia Peisu

Thanks for creating Xia Peisu! I've created an article for her husband and nominated them together for DYK. Please see Template:Did you know nominations/Xia Peisu. Cheers, -Zanhe (talk) 06:40, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Xia Peisu

[edit]

On 6 November 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Xia Peisu, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Xia Peisu (pictured), the "mother of computer science" in China, and her husband Yang Liming, who helped explain magic numbers, were elected to the Chinese Academy of Sciences at the same time? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Xia Peisu. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Xia Peisu), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
