September 2021[edit]

Hello, I'm GorillaWarfare. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Ryan Fitzpatrick, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 01:31, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tyreek Hill[edit]

Looks like you've been warned of unsourced edits in the past, please remember to include sources in edits. Additionally, we do not just put any performance in articles. If a performance was a career high or otherwise notable (196 yards is a lot but I wouldn't necessarily consider it a notable performance). Please refrain from making these edits in the future.--Rockchalk717 05:41, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Add only content that is specifically reference in source[edit]

Greetings. It appears you are having trouble understanding Wikipedia policy on original research. It speaks to the heart of what we do at Wikipedia and how this works. This place isn't the Wild West where people make their own rules and do as they please. You can't simply write something in an article because you think you know it to be true. As Wikipedia editors, we can never be the source of the information provided. It doesn't matter what you know. It matters what you can find published. Then, you paraphrase it, keeping sure you honor the source and give no more content than is in the source. All of your edit are being reverted, erased, so you are wasting your time. Study the Wikipedia Manual of Style, and Wikipedia Manual of Style/Biographies of Living People and learn how this machine works. Then, take advantage of your sandbox and learn how to find a source for what you want to say and then keep your paraphrasing true to what is said in the source. I would hate to see you lose your Wikipedia privileges. Just work on those links I provided. You'll be fine. God bless and happy editing! MarydaleEd (talk) 08:54, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
