Biography. advantures sport is now in just two hours from mumbai / pune /and Nasik / rafting on vaitarna = vaitarna being dam controlled river .rafting is done in the rapids which are generated by the water released from the dam. Total rafting distance is 11 kms. Which takes approx 2hrs, all different groups assemble at the starting point. the rafting time is 9.00 am and 2nd batch run by 2:15 pm. vaitarna river is the first rafting river in the maharastra who release 24hrs water in the river. Timing are This is followed by rafting instructions given by the company and his team of instructors. Rafting is conducted throughout the year on all the weekdays & weekends and we also do water fall rappelling / valley crossing / commando bridge / zoomering / flying fox / for kids tarzan swings / ladder climbing / this adventure activities we do.
Preparation and requirement for white water rafting. Almost everyboody other than, heart patients and people with severe asthama can raft. You must tell our rafting guide about any significant medical and orthopedic condition history. Decision to allow to raft or otherwise remains with our rafting guide. Minimum age for rafting is 12 year old Non- swimmers are most welcome. Good quality life jackets /helmets / paddle which keep you safe and one safety kayaker also there for your safety.
Things to carry with you. T-shirts / shorts pants / floaters / Non-greasy water resistant sunscreen spf. 40 / for rafting are most recommended. track pants / should be fine, spectacles are avoided if unavoidable should be supported with the strap. Avoid carrying jewellery/cash/wrist – watch/ and camera / in the raft. Salwar-kameez / sarees / are strictly NO. bring Change of dry clothes and a towel.
Direction, how to reach from mumbai. ( railway station : umbarmalli ) 120 kms drive on Mumbai – Nasik highway to shiroal then take left turn from the shiroal and drive 10 kms to dhapura village. ( our rafting reporting place )
Direction, how to reach from pune. 100 kms drive to ( karjat via khopoli ) then 80 kms drive to shahapur via murbad and 30 kms drive on Nasik highway to shiroal than take left turn from shiroal drive 10 kms to dhapura village ( our rafting reporting place ) total kms, 210/- from pune.
