Disambiguation link notification for August 18

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lyrikal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Abia. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello, I'm CodeTalker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ben Mutua Jonathan Muriithi, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CodeTalker (talk) 23:08, 18 August 2023 (UTC)

@CodeTalker Hi, in theory, the present article state isn’t encyclopedic in nature either. I saw that the reason for your rollback was that it wasn’t encyclopedic but I can tell that I’ve done quite a good job in the article in my revisions.
I didn’t add any information, I just rephrase and rearrange most of the details. All was based on the information previously available on the page. I see no issue here at all as I will go ahead and restore my revisions. Let me know what you think. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 05:07, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
Hi, if an article has problems then of course it is appropriate to try to improve it. But I do not agree that your edit was an improvement. You added a lot of non-neutral language like "Muriithi displayed a passion for acting, initially kindled within his village church", "he embarked on a transformative role as the Chairperson", "This paved the way for a notable career", "His immersion in the world of drama continued", "His dedication to arts and culture", "Muriithi's presence resonated on Kenyan radio, television, and stage", "Muriithi embarked on a new chapter", and many more. Language like this is promotional, trying to convince the reader of the subject's good qualities, and does not belong in an encyclopedia. Each of these could be written more neutrally; for example instead of "Muriithi displayed a passion for acting, initially kindled within his village church" you could say "Muriithi became interested in acting, initially within his village church", and instead of "His immersion in the world of drama continued" you could say "he continued acting". Please revert your changes and if you still believe they are appropriate, open a discussion on the article's talk page so that other editors can review them and participate in a discussion. CodeTalker (talk) 16:54, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
@CodeTalker Thank you so much for the observations. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 19:14, 19 August 2023 (UTC)

What’s your interest and goals?

Hello @Vanderwaalforces I noticed your nature of edit seams always like a conflict and it appears this is a new account but you don’t edit like are using a new account. From what I see, learn how to edit naturally and please hope you don’t have any personal interest? Or do you have issues with any article you saw written up on Wikipedia? try making positive edits and avoid things that will bring you out with other editors, you aren’t a reviewer. Stay blessed, thanks. Madeforall1 (talk) 13:06, 19 August 2023 (UTC)

@Greenman Hi, great work you’re doing here. I’d like to first clear you that I have no relationship whatsoever with the University, I’m neither a student nor staff of the university. I am quite vast in the policies that surround WP:COI, so if I had a COI in the subject, I wouldn’t even engage in creating the article, let alone, edit it.
I’d love you to check the draft back as I’ve done some necessary cleanup, removed weasel words per WP:WEASEL.
Thanks for your good work on here. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 20:18, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

If an article is tagged with in use, do not edit it

User:Lk95 was actively expanding Rabbit Rabbit and had tagged it with Template:In use. Please do not edit or move pages that are tagged as being "in use" in future. That tag exists to let users know they are editing it, and Lk95 is an experienced editor who has been here for years—articles they make do not need to be draftified. Lk95 has just told me via email that they wanted it moved back, so I did so. However, under basically no circumstances is anything ever so urgent that a page needs to be edited by another user while it's tagged as being in use, so please don't do this. Thank you.
