Disambiguation link notification for September 8[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of zombie short films and other zombie-related projects, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Webby (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

List of zombie films[edit]

Hi. I have reverted your change to the page List of zombie films. It is not appropriate to link, for example, Richard Taylor (disambiguation). If you think that the director of Atom the Amazing Zombie Killer could eventually have an article then the appropriate link would be Richard Taylor (director). When the film is a red-link it doesn't seem likely that the director is notable and there fore no link is probably a better choice. Thanks. Tassedethe (talk) 16:32, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A little more. It is fine to leave a link to Richard Taylor. At some point an editor will 'fix' this link e.g. unlink it or point it to Richard Taylor (director). By pointing it to Richard Taylor (disambiguation) it makes it look as though it is correct but it isn't. (It breaks the tools editors use to fix such links.) Please let me know if you want more info. Thanks. Tassedethe (talk) 16:38, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I obviously wasn't clear. Directing links to disambiguation pages through the (disambiguation) redirect is *wrong* unless you deliberately want to link to a dab page. As I explained such links should use (director) (or (film) or (actor) as appropriate). I going to create correct links for you. Perhaps that will make it clear for future pages you edit. Help[edit]

I notice that you edit many of the zombie articles. I tried to watch over the list one, but it's just too hard. Anyways, I'm trying to remember the name of a zombie movie I saw a couple of years ago. You're my last shot at figuring it out. It was a movie about a 20-something woman who wanted to do a documentary about some zombie fighters. She goes to them in some forest. They kill some zombies (of course). Then she follows the guys into a town with a bar. The bartender was quite a character. But he's running a zombie brothel. Lots of shooting. They return to the forest. And she leaves all upset with what she saw. I think the movie was Canadian, but I can't be sure. I've been trying to remember the name of the movie for months, but I can't seem to google it in a manner that I can find it. Your being an expert, any suggestions? SkepticalRaptor (talk) 04:38, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Answer[edit]

Sorry, but I'm not seen film with subjected plot. Expert?! Thanks, but I've seen only 200+ zombie-films and that count is far from ideal ;-). One more thing, try to be more descriptive (f.e. "bartender was quite a character" is helpless and "But he's running a zombie brothel.". Is last one a detail or more major thing? Etc.) and I try to help you Vanquisher 20:25, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

You're an expert!!! The basement of the bar has a zombie hooker. It was kind of disgusting. In the movie which I'm trying to find, the husband of the zombie hooker goes down to the basement, figures out it's his wife, comes back up and shoots the bartender. It was a horrible scene, not a sexy one. This movie wasn't porn. It was more sad and disgusting. I have been trying to figure out the name of the movie for months. Not, I'm not an expert, but thanks!!! I've never seen that film, so - sorry. Try find this item from inet: just type ALL keywords like "brothel", "hooker", "zombie", "forest", etc. If you find that subject please reply to me about naming of the subject. Vanquisher 22:09, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
