If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Luca Dalla Paola, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 14:44, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Status and Advice[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I deleted the article. On the now deleted talk p. you said : "This page is not unambiguously promotional, because describes one of the most inmportant researchers on diabetic foot.". But whether he is a research of importance was not the question. The article was deleted because it was written like a promotional web page. Wikipedia does not publish such material, no matter how eminent the individual.
If he meets the requirements of WP:PROF, it might be possible to writ an article about him. The criterion which would be possible is being an expert in his subject. In the sciences, we define that by citations. His citation record on Google Scholar would probably be considered borderline. His most cited articles were for articles where he was just one of a number of physicians participating in a clinical trial . There are 14 articles with 14 or more citations, i.e h=14, which is rather on the low side for biomedicine.
If you want to try again, please use the WP:Article Wizard and Draft space. Write in paragraphs. Give his education and then the sequence of major positions. Give major awards of national significance. Add links to his most cited papers. And then we'll see. DGG ( talk ) 17:16, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Basically you and the other authors need to send release to WP:OTRS
Have removed it here [1]
The paper does say the authors still own copyright so should be good[2] Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 17:59, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
