Hi, thank you for the translation of Ruediger Dahlke from one of the various sister wikipedia projects. For attribution history, please indicate which language version of wikipedia did you translate from? Appreciate if you can make a simple edit on the article and then in the edit summary indicate where you translated from! Thanks~! Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 02:24, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your feedback. I am just learning and this was my first article on Wikipedia. I can't remember exactly the road to my article, but I must have seen the german one on Ruediger Dahlke, and I wrote my own article as to comply with the Wikipedia guidelines, as I felt that there was too much bias in the german article. (The german article is also much longer but therefore not what is required as to my understanding of Wikipedia). For this purpose it also got presented in my class. But yes, with my next edit, I can make a reference to the german version. Thanks.

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Dahlke Rüdiger 0050R13x18.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:30, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know. I got the photo(s) from an email with the man whom the article is about. The email states that the photo can be used by anybody who is viewing it. Is that sufficient and I am lost which tag to useVeerle17 (talk) 05:16, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Veerle17! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Ruediger Dahlke that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
