Where does he announce the Patriots have given him a number? I see one tweet from Apr 8 on https://twitter.com/jmattjmattjmatt - and I don't see him saying anything about his player number. I'll revert your edit later today. Tarl N. (discuss) 21:50, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
- Ah. I see a story on it now: [1] . Interestingly, he doesn't say the Patriots have agreed to let him have number 80, just that he talked with Amendola, who is no longer with the team. It will be interesting if the coaching staff has other ideas. Tarl N. (discuss) 01:06, 13 April 2018 (UTC)
