Is anything wrong in that Venkateshhsgowda (talk) 15:00, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Venkateshhsgowda
I don't know which of your edits you are referring to, when you say "Is anything wrong in that" but I can see problems with all of them.
Lists of Notable people, should only include the names of people with their own Wikipedia article
You obviously do not understand Categories and category pages, but these are filled up automatically, not manually, and once set-up the pages should not be edited - other than by editors who understand Category pages.
You are obviously keen, but all of your edits to date have been reverted, as they were not constructive.
Can I suggest you take an hour to follow WP:The Wikipedia Adventure which will hopefully explain the basics. - Arjayay (talk) 15:20, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or a topic ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

A tag has been placed on Hunsur plywood works (hunsply), requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, Venkateshhsgowda. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but  Hunsur plywood works (hunsply) has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS.

Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Users who do so may be blocked from editing. Promotional content is vigorously deleted. Wikipedia:Identifying blatant advertising#Typical signs of blatant advertising contains information about content to avoid. For more information on content that may be perceived as promotional, click User:Dlohcierekim/promo.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources . Template:cite has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{references}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there.

Any deficiencies should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions. Wikipedia is not a webhost. You may wish to consider alternative outlets.

If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard or articles for creation to guide you through the creation process. The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems.

Wikipedia has many articles in need of improvement. Perhaps you can help.
