AHS Sikorsky Prize photo to be deleted from Wikimedia[edit]

Hi Mike, I happened to notice that the UofToronto photo (AHS Sikorsky Prize Winning Flight by AeroVelo) you uploaded to Wikimedia has been tagged for removal due to insufficient licensing info, as shown here. It will apparently be deleted on July 20th if the issue is not resolved. You may wish to look into it as the photo is a great one. Man, that helo is ginormous. Thanks and best, HarryZilber (talk) 15:22, 13 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I checked and it looks like it was resolved. Thanks for the note! If I'm wrong, please let me know. BTW, it is *not* a U. Toronto photo. Ginoromous is right! Vertiflite (talk) 04:33, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please review[edit]

Thanks. Now, what about;

  • Also, in regards to your edit here: [1], you commented that "helicopters have Rotors, not Propellers!", but... what about the Eurocopter X3?

The reason for changing the image was clearly stated in the edit summary. I'm confused by why this warning was left. --Onorem (talk) 23:13, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

January 2019[edit]

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. 331dot (talk) 10:55, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
