[edit]Hi Veteranbandit! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
VeteranBandit review
[edit]Hi there, thanks for your note. This is still a work in progress with a few misspellings, etc from me (hence the Reviewing flag!). Most importantly, I'm trying to ensure that references are used in the best way as all statements have to be supported on Wikipedia by external and neutral sources (rather than the organisation itself). Hopefully this will get there shortly. Libby norman (talk) 12:11, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hi again, just to let you know the page is now through. Any material taken out was done because it wasn't properly sourced and would be liable to get big banners all over it saying just that – see WP:REF and WP:V for guidance on how all of this works. Obviously once a page is up and running, it can be edited and improved as more events and news coverage happen – the best sources are newspapers and TV and avoid citations that are not independent (eg, own website, Facebook and so on).
I should just warn you that edits from a user page called Veteranbandit may well cause problems now or down the line because of conflict of interest guidelines on Wikipedia (in a nutshell: people shouldn't create/edit articles about their own organisation and sharing the same page name tends to set alarm bells ringing, even when there is no link). You may want to check out WP:COI for advice on what you can do to avoid such problems. Hope that helps and I shall be following the page and the organisation. Best of luck!Libby norman (talk) 17:56, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
