Please stop adding misleading information about accreditation in Switzerland. The Swiss quality label for further education institutions is not an academic accreditation, and the Swiss accreditation service does not perform academic accreditation.. Conflict of interest?[edit]

Hi. It occurs to me that you may have a conflict of interest editing the SSBR page, because you only seem to be editing their page Please refer to WP:COI for how to handle this. If you are employed or otherwise invested in SSBR, please do not edit their Wikipedia page and declare your conflict of interest. Thanks! Functionist (talk) 10:42, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am neither “employed or otherwise invested in” SSBR. And my interest in Swiss business programmes is purely personal, which led me to SSBR and your comments. Which in turn led to a whole lot of research in the relationships between different government/govt. approved private bodies and how they fit together in the educational space. So the question I am asking myself, is eduQua a useless piece of continuing educational qualification? If yes, then obviously any school that is certify as meeting it’s standard is useless too. Is that your position? 201.227.226.138 (talk) 14:30, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Good to know you are not breaking the COI rules.
Yes, eduQua standards are useless for institutions that claim to do higher education. They do not mean anything - they are the bare floor of quality management and that doesn't mean much. It's not completely useless, but if you were to use a PhD from a eduQua-certified but not nationally accredited university, you may be committing a crime in many countries such as the UK or Germany.
