American versus British spelling[edit]

On the talk (discussion) page for the article English language, it says that the consensus is to use British spelling for that article. Wikipedia has not standardized on American English throughout; that varies from article to article but should be consistent within each one. Thanks, PleaseStand (talk) 09:17, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
